Peculiar_Pursuits_A3_Poster_FINAL1A February evening of poetry!

Yvonne Cull takes to the helm to produce this evening of beautiful, moving and sometimes controversial poetry featuring the fabulous voices of Patrick Walker, Caroline Wild, David Shact, Simone Perry and Bernard Moule.

A few words from the Director:

“Don’t like poetry? Hated it at School? Or has it always been for you a source of comfort and joy?
Whatever your feelings about it come and join us at Victoria Hall on February 10th, 11th & 12th at 19:30

A super cast have gathered together favorite poetry to perform. Some you may know - some may be an exciting new experience - , a joy and delight. And for those of you who feel that you have never understood or appreciated it before, this may just change your mind! Come and see for yourself.

The show also commemorates, Annie Seymour a devoted poetry lover whose time for reading it was sadly cut short. However she did find time to compile an anthology of poetry read by our poetry group, and who called it ‘Peculiar Pursuits”

Contrary to previous newsletters, the dates to this show have changed and are now…
10th – 12th February 2011, Victoria Hall
As mentioned, this is an intriguing and sometimes very personal journey which you will not want to miss... and contains some adult language!
